Does Bluetooth 5.3 or 5.4 guarantee LE Audio?
No. The radio version does not establish the audio profiles, codec, host integration or driver support. Look for explicit LE Audio capability on both ends.
Why does the sound change when the microphone turns on?
On the Windows Classic path, headset microphone use selects HFP rather than the playback-only A2DP path. The tool checks whether that explanation fits your selected microphone and transport.
Will a separate microphone always fix it?
It is a useful comparison, not a guarantee. Confirm the app actually selected the separate input and that another app is not opening the headset microphone or a communications stream.
Can this tool hear or record me?
No. It does not request microphone access. You enter the settings and symptoms, and the report is calculated in the page.
Does a missing LE Audio setting mean I need a new headset?
Not necessarily. The missing setting concerns the current Windows system support, including hardware and drivers. Check the PC manufacturer’s documentation before buying replacement equipment.
Can the tool measure latency or identify my active codec?
No. It does not inspect a Bluetooth link. Its results are conditional on the settings you supply and include tests to help verify the diagnosis.
